TREM Lighthouse Global Announces The Gate 2026 Watch Night Experience in Lagos
TREM Lighthouse Global has announced “The Gate 2026,” a New Year’s Eve Watch Night Experience holding on December 31, 2025, in Lagos, focused on prayer, worship, and intentional entry into 2026.
Lagos, Nigeria — As the year draws to a close, TREM Lighthouse Global has announced a New Year’s Eve Watch Night gathering titled “The Gate 2026”, scheduled to hold on December 31, 2025, at The Penthouse Hall, Ogudu Road, Lagos.
The event, which begins at 9:00 p.m., is positioned as a reflective and prayer-centered transition service designed to mark the end of 2025 and the entry into 2026 with spiritual intentionality. According to the organisers, the theme “The Gate” draws from biblical imagery that emphasizes watchfulness, preparation, and discernment at moments of transition.
Church leaders explained that the concept is anchored on the scriptural idea of gates as points of access and authority, referencing Revelation 3:8, which speaks of “an open door” set by God that cannot be shut. The Watch Night experience is expected to focus on prayer, worship, and consecration rather than conventional celebration.

Lighthouse Choir Getting Ready For The CrossOver Service
Speaking on the significance of the theme, representatives of TREM Lighthouse Global noted that the gathering seeks to encourage attendees to approach the New Year with clarity and purpose, rather than haste. “The Gate reflects the belief that how one exits a season matters just as much as how one enters the next,” the church stated.
The programme is expected to attract worshippers from across Lagos and its environs, particularly young adults and families seeking a faith-based alternative to conventional New Year celebrations. Organisers describe the service as inclusive and open to the general public.

TREM Lighthouse Global is one of the city’s growing expressions of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, with a focus on contemporary worship, biblical teaching, and community engagement.
