The 32nd Commissioner of Police, Police Special Fraud Unit (PSFU), Lagos, CP Rose Chollom Dung, mspsp, formally concluded her active service in the Nigeria Police Force on Saturday, 17th January 2026, following her attainment of the statutory retirement age of 60 years. The ceremony was attended by Strategic Leaders of the Nigeria Police Force, AIG Aishatu Abubakar Baju, OON,mni, the Force Gender Adviser to the Inspector General of Police, AIG Adegoke M Fayoade, mni, psc, minim, fisn, the AIG Zone 2 Lagos, AIG Margaret Ochala, AIG FCID Annex Lagos, AIG Okunade Ronke Nurat, fsi, mspsp, the AIG Maritime, Force Headquarters Annex Lagos, AIG Omolara Oloruntola, the Commandant Police College Ikeja, CP Simeon Udofia Akpanudom, fdc, the Commissioner of Police Anti-Fraud Section, FCID Annex Lagos, other very senior officers, stakeholders, captains of industries, and other distinguished dignitaries. Notable among those present were retired Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG Sylvester Abiodun Alabi, psc, mnim, fdc, alongside other retired very senior officers.

CP ROSE CHOLLOM DUNG, OUT GOING CP OF POLICE SPECIAL FRAUD UNIT
In her address, CP Rose Chollom Dung expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty for His grace, protection, and divine health throughout her years of service. She described the occasion as a moment of reflection and thanksgiving for a policing career defined by professionalism and integrity. The Commissioner appreciated the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for his exemplary leadership, dedication to personnel development, and consistent promotion of professionalism and gender inclusivity within the Nigeria Police Force.
The Commissioner paid glowing tribute to the management team, officers, men and women of the Police Special Fraud Unit, Lagos, describing her tenure at the Unit as one of the most fulfilling periods of her career. She commended their discipline, dedication, and professionalism, noting that their conduct significantly contributed to the operational successes of the Unit and the enhancement of public confidence. CP Dung further appreciated the support of PSFU stakeholders and institutional partners, whose collaboration strengthened the Unit’s investigative capacity.
