The 10th Annual Nigeria Credit Industry Awards and Investiture Ceremony honors outstanding institutions and professionals driving innovation, integrity, and growth in Nigeria’s credit and financial services sector.
The National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), chartered, has announced the 10th Annual Nigeria Credit Industry Awards and Investiture Ceremony, scheduled to hold on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Hotel Vintano, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, starting at 10:00 a.m.
The annual awards, organized by NICA, recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions and achievements in Nigeria’s credit industry and business management. The event has grown into one of the most respected gatherings in the credit sector, promoting excellence, innovation, and professionalism among practitioners.
This year’s edition marks a decade of honoring distinguished professionals and organizations whose work has contributed significantly to the development of credit management practice and the nation’s economy. The 2025 ceremony will feature the formal investiture of new awardees and recognition of individuals selected across various professional categories.

According to the Institute, nominees were evaluated by a panel of selectors based on their achievements, leadership, innovation, and measurable impact on the credit industry. Among the categories approved by the Governing Council is the Eminent Credit Professional of the Year, awarded to professionals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and excellence in their field. Other categories include Entrepreneur of the Year, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Year, and Credit Manager of the Year, Corporate Debt Recovery Professional of the Year, and Credit and Financial Analyst of the Year, among others reflecting NICA’s commitment to recognizing excellence across all levels of credit administration.
Awardees are required to submit an updated profile, a passport photograph, and a self-citation not exceeding 200 words detailing their career progress and professional achievements over the past twelve months. These will form part of the official documentation for the investiture.
To commemorate the occasion, NICA will produce a Special Awardees Edition of The Credit Manager Magazine, featuring profiles of the honorees and their corporate advertisements. Organizations are encouraged to support this publication through advert placements, with approved rates ranging from ₦300,000 to ₦1,350,000, depending on page position.
The event will be chaired by Mr. Andy Ojei, FICA, President of the Institute and Chairman of the Governing Council, supported by other distinguished members of the NICA Council. The ceremony will attract senior executives, financial experts, and policymakers from various sectors.
NICA described the 10th edition as a milestone event, reaffirming the Institute’s mission to promote professionalism, accountability, and ethical credit management practice across Nigeria. The Institute also emphasized that the awards serve not just as recognition but as motivation for continuous professional excellence.
