Though jealousy and the wickedness of those close inflicted wounds that contributed to your passing even from people you trained, supported, and uplifted, sometimes more than your own children yet it still pleased God to allow you to complete your journey as He ordained.

Your story is not one of sorrow, but of enduring legacy. Countless testimonies speak of how you faithfully supported the church at Oke Ora in Owan West LGA of Edo State, financing its work and standing as a steadfast pillar of strength to the clergy and the local assembly. Even in your final days, when you needed medical care yourself, you shared your medical items with other patients, an act remembered by one patient who said, “Your daddy was a good man.” This selflessness proves once again that your heart was never for yourself but always for others. Truly, the apple does not fall far from the tree, and it is this spirit that has inspired my own philanthropic, marketplace, and ministry engagement over the years.

God has indeed honored your kindness. Your legacy shines in the lives of the children and those you took into your home who were not your biological children, yet to whom you gave a future, dignity, and meaning. You taught us that family is more than blood; it is sacrifice, responsibility, and love lived out in action.

Today, I am grateful for the military toughness of your love. At the time, we may not have fully understood it, but now we cherish it. That tough love has shaped us, strengthened us, and continues to guide our steps and decisions every day.

From the class‌room‌s of Sabongidd‌a Ora to the di⁠sciplined‌ ranks of the Nigerian Army, and late​r the ha‍lls​ of the West African Ex⁠amin‍ations Council⁠ (WA‌E⁠C)⁠, Mr. Rufus Ojeagbase Ehimiyei‍n’s li‍f​e was a testament to service, leadership, and unwa‍vering commitment. He began his​ pr‌ofessional journey as a‍ teacher at Holy‌ Trinit‍y Gram⁠ma‍r Sch‌ool, shapin​g y‍o⁠ung m‍inds and meeting his future wife in t‌he pr‍ocess. Driven by a desi⁠re to serve hi⁠s country more‍ direc​tly, he joined t​he Nige⁠rian Army, whe‍re his dedication and d​iscip⁠line propelled him to the rank of Wa‌rrant Officer 2‍,‍ s‍erving with distinct​ion at Dodan Bar‌racks in Lagos until h⁠is retir‌ement‌ in 1984.
